I grew up in Sweden and have always drawn. I sketch to explore ideas, characters, and small details, often without a clear plan. That way of working is still at the heart of Justmimmi.

My illustrations are shaped by everyday life, nature, and the way children look at the world, curious, honest, and direct. I choose what feels right rather than what is loud.

Justmimmi is my space for creating slowly, with care, and without rushing things that need time.

Northern Sweden has shaped how I see things. The quiet, the seasons, the long pauses in between. It’s a place where you learn to notice small changes and simple details.

That sense of space and calm follows me into my work. It reminds me to slow down, to leave room, and to let things be simple.
